The opening of the
new Middlesex County Family signaled the completion of a true government
district for the City of New Brunswick. Resources were leveraged
to amplify the overall economic impact of this redevelopment project
and to ensure that a number of development goals were met. In addition
to the state-of-the-art courthouse, the mixed-use facility includes
street level retail space to service the immediate neighborhood,
visitors, attorneys, and staff at the new courthouse, as well as
office space to house the New Brunswick campus of Middlesex County
College.
