The Center for Arts
& Planning (CAP) is the cornerstone of New Brunswick's government
district redevelopment program and anchors Rutgers in the city's
business and cultural center. The building boasts galleries, classrooms,
theaters, and a broadcast television studio. Related improvements
to adjacent theaters, along with an outdoor plaza and sizable underground
parking garage, greatly enhance the ability of the New Brunswick
Cultural Center to attract world-class performances and bolsters
the CAP's status as a magnet for major public policy forums.
